Has it been a week already!? Guess i’m still coming down from the high of speaking at PechaKucha Atlanta last Sunday.
PechaKucha 20×20 was created in Tokyo in 2003, and PechaKucha Nights now happen in over 800 cities around the world! It is a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds.
It’s the perfect setting for stylish nerds and hipsters with an interest in the joy of learning, for learning’s sake. I was honored to be a features speaker this month speaking about the Orisha, of course! Imagine the challenge of introducing an indigenous spiritual practice, laced with my personal experiences, history, and primary orisha intro, all in 6 minutes and 20 seconds!!
